Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Steven!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks so much for dropping by with your question today. Can you believe that in just over a month, you'll be wandering down Main Street, U.S.A., and enjoying
all the magic of the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort? You must be getting so excited!
As you're checking things off your planning to-do list over the next few weeks before you arrive, be sure to open up the My Disney Experience mobile app and double-check that you've made a
Disney Park Pass reservation for each day that you plan to visit one of the parks. Remember, you'll need both a theme park reservation
and valid theme park admission. And if you haven't made Disney Park Pass reservations for your visit yet, I recommend doing that as soon as possible –– it isn't unusual to see availability fill up as the date gets closer, especially around popular times like the Thanksgiving holiday. Once you've confirmed that your reservations are all set, you'll be ready to hit the ground running when you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
And speaking of reservations, I'm sorry that you're having trouble finding
advance dining reservations for your visit. I've been in your shoes before and I know how frustrating it can be when everything you're searching for seems to be full. But just because reservations for certain restaurants haven't been showing availability, all hope isn't lost just yet –– it isn't unusual to see reservation availability pop up, even as late as 24 hours before your plan to dine. In fact, I've had a lot of success during my recent visits with finding reservations 72-24 hours ahead of time. So just keep checking during these last few weeks before your visit and you might be surprised what pops up.
If it turns out that you still score that perfect reservation before you arrive, you can also take advantage of the Walk Up List feature in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you're at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll be able to see which restaurants near you have space for walk-ups whenever you're ready to dine and then head straight to the restaurant. It's a great way to snag a table for times when you don't have an existing reservation or just a chance to add a little spontaneity to your day.
I hope this helps with your quest to find the perfect dining reservation, Steven, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. Here's to a Walt Disney World Resort visit that's filled with pixie dust and delicious dishes from start to finish!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
