Hi there, Kyran! Welcome to planDisney! I see I have a fellow planner at heart in you! It's a good move to be thinking ahead to November as the holidays can be a very popular time at the Happiest Place on Earth. Let's see what we can find out together about those theme park reservations.
I love to hear that you have your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package all set to go as this will take care of your hotel accommodations and theme park tickets. It also sounds like you have already linked your package to your account so you can start making theme park reservations. I have a few ideas about what might be causing the issue with your reservation making:
1. Theme park reservations open up 120 days before each date, and as of today, you can make reservations through November 28th, 2022. Tomorrow, November 29th will be available, and so on. It's possible that you were trying to reserve dates that weren't quite available yet, but since the full month will be open in a few days, you should be good to go soon!
2. As you have discovered, the theme park reservation system allows you to make reservations one day at a time. Once your first day is confirmed, you simply start the process again to make your second reservation, and again for your third reservation. and so on. The good news here, however, is that you will be able to make them for your full party if everyone is linked to your account at one time for each reservation. As part of the process, you will select the Guests from a list of those linked to your account. Some Guests who are visiting for multiple days wait until their full window is open and available to make all their reservations in one sitting, while others will log on each morning as they become available. The November calendar is currently fully available, subject to change of course, so as long as you keep your eye on it, you should be all set!
While we don't have an exact date of when the holiday festivities will kick off, from previous years we can safely say it will be mid-November. This is when the holiday décor will arrive, Mickey and Minnie will be greeting Guests in their holiday best, A Christmas Fantasy Parade will float down Main Street, U.S.A., and you'll get to experience "it's a small world" Holiday - the merriest cruise of all! I like to take a full day to experience the Disney Festival of the Holidays over at Disney California Adventure Park where you get to participate in celebrations from around the world ... and yes, a spin through Radiator Springs Racers is fun too! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and the @DISNEYLAND Instagram account as that's where you'll find out the latest and greatest on the holiday festivities!
Kyran, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
Magic awaits!
