Trying to reserve character dining for Goofy's kitchen on February 6th, and am trying to reserve dinner specifically, but am not seeing any times for dinner. Will Goofy's kitchen not be open for dinner during this time?

    Hi Kerri,

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited for your upcoming Disneyland Resort trip. Adding a visit to Goofy’s Kitchen is a great idea! I took my daughter there for her birthday one year, and she loved seeing the characters up close and personal.

Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance, so you may have checked a little early. As of today, reservations go through February 10. I do see that the week of February 1–7 is currently blocked off, but I haven’t heard any news as to why.

While this might sound like a bibbidi bobbidi bummer, there is still plenty of hope! I recommend continuing to check back to see if that week opens for reservations. If reservations do open but fill quickly, keep checking periodically to see if something becomes available. People’s plans change all the time, and new reservations often pop up. I’ve seen reservations drop daily during the week of my trip, and even the night before my visit! Your last best chance at snagging a reservation is to stop by Goofy’s Kitchen on the day of your visit. Sometimes, they have day-of availability.

There are also other character dining options you might consider, such as Storytellers Cafe, the Princess Breakfast Adventures, and Breakfast at the Plaza Inn. All of these are wonderful alternatives if you’re unable to visit Goofy’s Kitchen.

I hope this information is helpful, Kerri! If you have more questions or need help with any other part of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d love to share more tips and sprinkle a little pixie dust on your vacation.

    Happy dining!
