Trying to get reservations for T-Rex the day we arrive and I keep striking out! Be Our Guest is second option.. Any suggestions as to how I can get reservations :( Thanks!

Hi, Catherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I know it can be frustrating when the restaurant you really, really, REALLY want is fully booked. Thankfully, my husband is an Advanced Dining Reservation master. His strategy is to keep trying - again and again and again. As other families change their plans and cancel their own reservations, time slots will open up here and there.  It is a matter of being online or calling Disney Dining at the right time! My husband has had the most luck when he checks in the very early morning hours. You will need to remain flexible in your scheduling, which may mean dinner at 3 p.m. or 8 p.m. - but I promise it will be worth it! As my friend Dory says, "Just keep swimming!" It does not hurt to book a plan C, just in case your desired restaurant options do not become available. You can cancel your Advanced Dining Reservation up to 24 hours in advance without any cancellation fees if you should need to cancel.

Crossing my fingers and toes and sending lots of pixie dust your way, Catherine!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
