    I have been trying to make reservations for January and all the places that were recommended to me are already booked for the days we are there. Any suggestions?

    Hi Vicki,

    Unfortunately, this is what happens when you leave it too long before making reservations.  The most popular restaurants do fill up very quickly (even 180 days before your vacation can many times still be hard to secure).  The only thing that I can suggest is to keep trying.  They do have cancelations (even though this is not very common) and I have many times been able to book some popular restaurants right down to the wire because someone else canceled their reservation.  It does happen and as long as you keep trying (even from your resort while on vacation if necessary) and don't give up.  In the interim, I would suggest to make some reservations at some of your 2nd and 3rd choice restaurants which you will be able to cancel (without a charge) quite easily if and when you do secure your 1st choice places.  I wish you much pixie dust and good luck in getting the reservations you are hoping for.
