We are trying to make a reservation for October 29-November 1st 2021...but it’s not open yet...do we know when it will reopen?

    Hey Corinna!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is so much fun! You’ve picked one of the best times of the year to visit. The villainous spell-abration is absolutely splendid and I love seeing all the decorations, costumes and special treats throughout the theme parks! Because you are going at the tail end of the spookiest time of the year, you get to catch a bit of the Christmas décor that starts popping up on November 1st. As Jack Skellington would say, this is what happens when two holidays collide! We still haven’t heard what Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will entail this year but I hope it’s as ghoulish as ever!

I like that you're planning ahead for your trip, but at this time the Disneyland Resort is only accepting theme park reservations for California residents about 60 days out. With everything changing day to day right now, it’s hard to know when that information will be released. With California planning to “fully reopen” on June 15th, we could start to hear more information soon after that. You’re going to want to follow along with the Disney Parks Blog as they will release that information first.

Even though you can’t make a theme park reservation just yet, you can secure your accommodations at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel through the end of this year. It might be a good idea to secure that now so that once out of state guests can book a theme park reservation for October, you are ready to go!

Well Corinna, feel free to check in with us at a later time.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
