Hi there Doris,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I stayed at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with my family a couple of years ago and it was unbelievable - convenient location, relaxing setting, and that same Disney Magic. You're going to love it!
When I'm looking on the
Disneyland Resort website, I typically use the "Build Your Vacation" bar located near the top of the screen and enter my trip details. It will then help me build out my next trip with one of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort, theme park tickets, and theme park reservations if the availability window is open for the dates of my visit.
However, I have noticed that some of the international versions of the Disneyland Resort website don't always offer the ability to self-plan your vacation due to local laws and regulations, so it's possible that you're in a location where that feature is unavailable.
It could also be that there might not be rooms available for the specific dates of your trip and/or the size of your party. I've run into this in the past as well!
If you have the ability, I would recommend
calling a Cast Member at the Hotels line. If that option is not available in your area, then I would recommend working with a local travel agent to help coordinate the details of your trip.
Thanks again for your question, Doris! I hope you make some amazing and fun new memories on your next trip to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
