We are trying to get a reservation with Chef Mickey for dinner during our stay in Sept. and we were told it was all full. We are staying at the Contemporary, any suggestions on how we can get in for dinner, this is all my 4 year old wants! Thanks

Hello, Alice!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

It really helps that you are staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort.   First, I would highly recommend calling (407)WDW-DINE daily until prior to your departure for Walt Disney World in order to check for cancellations.  I know this can be very frustrating, but you may be lucky.  Once you arrive, I would check-in and then head right on over to Chef Mickey's if you are arriving in the morning hours for breakfast or during the evening hours.  I have been able to secure a table before by just walking right up to the check-in counter at Chef Mickey's.  The best time to walk-up is in the early morning hours.  Many folks have good intentions when they set their early morning reservations, but the parks tire many people out and they just prefer to stay in bed.  This may be your best bet.  I will send some Pixie Dust your way!

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime.  May your vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
