Hi Greg! Welcome to planDisney!
There is nothing quite like your first
Walt Disney World Resort trip! My first visit was not until I was a young adult and I honestly had no idea what I was missing! Believe me, once you get to experience Disney magic for the first time, there is nothing quite like it. There is something for everyone, whether you love thrilling attractions or are a foodie like myself, you will have plenty of options to enjoy.
Traveling at this time anywhere in the world is such a tricky endeavor. It's tough to plan too far in advance because of all the unknowns that lie ahead. Luckily, Disney has been able to be flexible and do its best to accommodate most situations.
Although
Walt Disney World tickets are non-refundable, they will never lose their value. You can use the amount that you paid for them on future park tickets. To do so, you will need to call the
Walt Disney World Existing Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will happily book your tickets needed for April and help with any other needs you may have. Remember, if the cost of the April tickets is greater than the value of your previously purchased tickets, you will need to pay the difference at the time of booking. Walt Disney World ticket pricing does fluctuate during different times of the year.
Greg, I hope that the circumstances work in your favor, and you can have your first visit to the Most Magical Place On Earth! If you find yourself in
EPCOT, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be underway, and it is a can’t miss event. There are beautiful topiaries throughout the park and some delicious outdoor kitchens with all types of cuisine. And of course, I recommend making one of your park days a visit to the
Magic Kingdom Park. There is nothing like walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing
Cinderella's Castle for the first time.
Happy planning!
Greg
