Hello! I am trying to remember when the shows for the holidays (Halloween and Christmas) come and go. So Fantasmic! does it run during Halloween & Christmas? Do they have a parade for Halloween? Thank you!!

Boo to you, Amy, and thanks for bringing your question my way! It’s great to see you return to planDisney with another question.

Currently, the Entertainment Schedule is updated through October 3, 2022, since it’s usually available about six weeks in advance, so we’re able to see the shows and park hours through that date. Typically, during non-summer months, shows like Fantasmic! or fireworks may only be seen on Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday evenings. I checked the schedule, and it looks like Fantasmic! is still showing on Friday, September 30, 2022, and Saturday, October 1, 2022, at both 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM in Disneyland Park. In addition, Halloween Screams with Fireworks is scheduled for 9:30 PM on both of those nights as well. The Mickey and Friends Cavalcade is also scheduled for both of those days at 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM. I also checked Sunday, October 2, and Monday, October 3, and didn't see any of these shows or fireworks scheduled those days, so this leads me to believe that Fantasmic! and Halloween Screams may be shown mostly on Fridays and Saturdays during October. I recommend continuing to check the Entertainment Schedule for updates closer to your arrival date of October 7, 2022. Since you’re arriving on a Friday, you just may be in luck, Amy!

As for a Halloween parade, there is one, called the Frightfully Fun Parade, but it’s only shown to Guests during Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. Unfortunately, this special Halloween event is currently sold out. However, there are still plenty of other fun ways to experience the most spook-tacular season, including unique holiday attraction overlays such as Haunted Mansion Holiday, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-o-Ween! Plus, you’ll still get to experience your favorite Disney Characters all dressed up for the spooky season, which makes for some great photos!

Last but not least, to give you an idea of the timing of the different seasons, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will appear through October 31, 2022, and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will officially kick off on November 11, 2022.

Let’s BOO this, Amy! If you have any additional questions as your visit gets closer, please stop back… we’re all EARs!

Have a boo-tiful, very merry day!
