Hi Holly! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh Boy! You are only a couple of days from crossing the pond to join
The World's Most Magical Celebration. During your holiday, keep your eyes peeled for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They make the perfect selfie background to share with friends back home or on social media. Look for Nemo to the right of the
Tree of Life at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) is such a blessing for those guests who have difficulties tolerating traditional queue wait times. Guests from overseas must register for DAS in person with
Guest Relations. Scroll through the link to help find locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort property. I recommend you verify your complete travel party is linked in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App before your visit. Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines located in the bottom right-hand corner, scroll to "My Profile," and tap on "Family & Friends List." If you are missing anyone, choose "Add a Guest" and you will be given three options to add your companions. Now, you are all set for your registration with a friendly Cast Member. Great news, once set up you will be able to access DAS selections right on your Mobile App to help navigate your day. Here is a list of
select experiences available to DAS participants.
Make sure to catch the last days of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Enjoy a fresh culinary delight from an
outdoor kitchen. My favorite was the Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips from the Pineapple Promenade near the Port of Entry. Stay until the sun goes down and the iconic
Spaceship Earth comes to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
