Hi I’ve been trying to register for a DAS pass video call but have been unable to access the booking page can you help We arrive in four days 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Hiya Darryl!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad that you came to us with this magical question, and I cannot wait for you to experience all the magic the Walt Disney World Resort offers. Can you believe that in just a few days, you will be on your magic carpet ride on your way to sunny Orlando, Florida? You must be so thrilled! I know I would be, especially since you picked such a magical time to visit!

Now, let's talk about the Disability Access Service. One of my favourite things about Disney is that it truly brings everybody together, and the Disability Access Service, or DAS, is one of the many examples of how inclusive the Disney Parks are. There are two ways that Guests can register to DAS at this time: in person with a Guest Relations Cast Member or online through the video call. Unfortunately, the video call is currently only available to Guests located in the US. However, this does not mean that you cannot use it upon your arrival in Florida! Indeed, you can schedule a video call once you arrive at your hotel and register for DAS and advance selections then. You can also make advanced selections in person with a Guest Relations Cast Member, but it is important to note that both ways can only make selections at least two days in advance. Once you are registered, you will be free to make your DAS selections while in the parks by using your My Disney Experience mobile app at any time.

One of my favourite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that there are plenty of activities to do that do not require waiting in line. Indeed, I would highly recommend participating in the Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt over at EPCOT, where you have to find the different statues of Spike the Bee around the World Showcase. Maps and stickers can be purchased at select merchandise locations, and you will even receive a fun prize upon completion! Another favourite activity of mine is the Wilderness Explorers over at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Contrary to Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration, this activity is not seasonal and can be found year-round throughout the park. In this case, you will have to pick up your Wilderness Explorers booklet in Discovery Island and earn badges around the park by learning about animals, conservation and different ecosystems. Not only do you get to earn fun and colourful badges, but I also love talking to all the knowledgeable and passionate Cast Members who genuinely make the experience as fun as it is.

I hope this was helpful, Darryl, and that you and your Ohana will have the most magical time on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. As fellow Wilderness Explorers, it is our duty to help those in need of assistance! And remember: the wilderness must be explored! Kaw-kaw, rawr!

    Have a magical day,
