Hi Whitlee!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you found us hEAR!
Oh dear, I am so sorry that you're having a bit of trouble with planning your future Disney Days. I do hope that Guest Relations was able to give you an answer. Just to confirm,
theme park tickets to Disneyland Resort, in California, cannot be used for admission to
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. While you'll still see Mickey and his pals on both coasts (they like to bounce between their Original house and their vacation home), the two resorts do operate their own admissions and business systems, kind of like when two restaurants are owned by the same parent company. The phone number to speak with
Cast Members at Disneyland is (714) 781-4636. Or, if you're still on hold (hopefully not!) you might also want to reach out to the team at Walt Disney World to see if they can also assist. Their phone number is (407) 939-7679, but they also have a helpful chat feature to speak with someone who can help; look on the right side of this '
directory' link and above the tall light blue rectangle click the chat icon.
I promise you this happens to others from time to time. And I know it probably doesn't seem funny right now, but a very similar scenario played out in the two-part season 5 finale of the ABC primetime tv show 'The Middle'; the family won tickets to Disneyland but accidentally drove to World! It worked out in the end for the Heck family and I'm sure that you'll end up in the right place too.
Let us know if you have any more questions while planning your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Whitlee. We're All Ears!
