Hi there, Tyra! Welcome to planDisney! I always love to chat with another Floridian!
Isn't technology something? It can help us do so many things, but then it can also make us feel as silly as the Mad Hatter! Let's see if we can work out your issue and have you grinning like the Cheshire Cat in no time!
Tyra, before we step through the process, one thing to be aware of is that you can only
reassign a ticket that hasn't been used yet. So for example, if you have a 3-Day Ticket and used it to enter a theme park for just one day, you can't transfer it to someone else for the remaining two days. That ticket is linked to the person who used it and can't be reassigned.
Okay, if the ticket we're working with hasn't been used yet, let's keep moving forward and get it reassigned! Here are the steps for doing that:
- Go to the
Walt Disney World website and sign in at the blue link right above the menu bar.
- Roll over the "My Disney Experience" logo in the menu bar to bring up a drop-down menu.
- Select "My Plans."
- Scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets."
- Select the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab.
- Find the ticket you want to change and click on "Reassign Ticket."
- Select a Guest from the list or click the "+" to add a new Guest.
That should do it! Keep in mind that if you're reassigning a Florida Resident Ticket, the Guest who will be using it needs to provide
proof of Florida residency before they can enter one of the theme parks.
If you're still having problems or you can't find your ticket on the website, I'd go ahead and
call Disney's Guest Relations at the "Existing Tickets" number. A Cast Member will be happy to assist you!
I hope this helps you share some magic with your friends and family, Tyra. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
