When trying to purchase tickets for our upcoming trip in December it keeps pulling up a linked guests travel plans for their trip in April. How do I get just my things into a cart

Hi there Cliff, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for coming by with your question.

I'm glad to see you're getting a head start on your very merry vacation this December; it's my favorite time of year to visit and the sooner you get those tickets purchased and theme park reservations, the sooner you can sit back and start dreaming about all that holiday magic! I can offer you a few potential solutions to fix your problem.

First, you could give the friendly folks at Disney a call. Cast Members can help you purchase and link theme park admission to the correct members of your party, and once this is done, you'll have access to the Disney Park Pass System for your travel dates.

If you prefer to take care of business yourself, one option is to disconnect from any Guest you do not currently have plans with from your My Friends & Family List. If you think you'll take a trip with them again in the future, Hakuna Matata! You can reconnect any time with just a few clicks. Once the Guest is no longer linked in your My Disney Experience account, they will not appear as a potential ticket assignee.

Finally, when you're ready to purchase theme park tickets, make sure that you have an empty cart. Sometimes when I'm dreaming about and pricing out future vacations, I end up with accommodations and theme park tickets saved to my cart. When you want to start fresh with new plans, it's best to begin with an empty cart. To do this, click on "Cart" and if it doesn't say "Your cart is empty," go in and eliminate its contents. Sometimes all we need is a clean slate and a fresh start!

I hope this helps, Cliff! As you prepare for your visit during the most festive time of year, be sure to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog and follow planDisney on social media. There is a lot of excitement on the horizon in the Walt Disney World Resort, and you won't want to miss any of it. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
