Hello. I am trying to purchase tickets and make reservations for December 17 and 18 for 4 adults. I see that the dates are blocked off. Does this mean those days are no longer available, or they haven't opened up yet for booking? Thank u

Hello Elizabeth! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’ve stopped by with your question.

I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon, though I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble making theme park reservations. Fridays through Sundays tend to be popular days to visit the theme parks, especially during “Holidays at the Disneyland Resort” which runs through January 9th, 2022. With the theme park reservations system, Guests can make theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. I just peeked at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and currently, all December dates are crossed out. This means that theme park reservations are sold out. People’s vacation plans do change, and cancelations can happen. I highly recommend checking periodically to see if the dates you wish to visit open.

I wish you the best of luck and sincerely hope you’ll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon! If you have further trip-planning questions for us, please write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
