Hey there Liz,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I always love getting the chance to answer a question from a fellow Arizonan.
Currently, to visit the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both
theme park tickets and a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. You can purchase standard theme park tickets at any time and just need to use them before they expire, which is usually a pretty long window of time.
Theme park reservations are subject to availability but can be made up to six months out from the current date. When I look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, it looks like both parks still have reservations available for the dates in October that you listed, so you should be good to go!
My suggestion would be to buy your standard theme park tickets through the
Disneyland Resort website and it will also walk you through making your theme park reservations as part of the purchase process.
If instead you'd like to book a Vacation Package then you can follow the instructions on the
Vacation Package page of the Disneyland Resort website.
Additionally, if you are running into a specific obstacle I didn't cover here then you can
reach out to a Cast Member at the Guest Information for some additional help! They can see more detailed information about your specific situation than we can here at planDisney and can give you some suggested next steps for planning your trip.
Thanks again for your question, Liz! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth next month.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
