Hiya Lorraine!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to see you are ready to purchase your tickets to
Disneyland Resort! This past Christmas, my family received quite a few Disney Gift Cards and we are excited to put it towards our upcoming trips to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. I love having the money already available to make our vacation dreams come true!
At this time, only one gift card can be used to make a payment towards the purchase of tickets. The best advice I can give you is to combine all your gift cards into one! (To be exact, six gift card balances can be merged into one of them) Just head over to the
official Disney Gift Card website and scroll down till you see a button for "My Cards." Click on it and then log in using your Disneyland account username and password. Click on "Add A Card" and then add your gift cards. You can transfer amounts into one of your gift cards but only up to $1,000. You must keep all of these gift cards in a safe place and note clearly on the now combined gift card the new balance. Another option to be more discreet is to just write a code word like "Use this" so it's not mixed up. If you have more gift cards to add then delete the ones with a $0 balance and add more till you are done. Do not throw away your cards until you complete the trip in case there is a need for a refund or if there is an issue. If your final purchase total is greater than $1,000, you have the choice to just use this gift card and then pay with another payment type like a credit card, break down your purchase and buy tickets in smaller groupings, or reach out to the
Cast Members at Tickets for help.
It looks like you are arriving in time to enjoy the
Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park! Festive foods, beautiful celebrations of the holidays from around the world, and tons of entertainment. Make sure to enjoy
World of Color-Season of Light which will help be a wonderful way to end the evening and the holiday season. It is a great way to start the new year off right!
I hope this helps and you have a magical and jolly time!
Happy Planning!
