Hey there, hi there, Rhuby! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your planning question. I just love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!
Well, it sounds as if the magic is calling, Rhuby, and I'm so excited to hear that you are answering the call! The holiday season is my absolute favorite time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. With its beautiful decorations, twinkling lights and the smell of gingerbread in the air, there just seems to be extra pixie dust floating around. I'm more than happy to answer your question and help you and your family get to the magic!
The best way for your brother-in-law to purchase all of your Walt Disney World theme park tickets is for him to create his own
My Disney Experience account. It's super easy to do, and once his account is created, have him link you and your entire travel party to his
Family & Friends List. I find that the easiest way to do this is on the My Disney Experience app. Log in to your app, tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom of the screen, scroll down and tap "My Profile." Then, tap "Show My Linking Code," take a screenshot of your unique code and send that to your brother-in-law. Have him use the code to link you to his Family & Friends List and do the same for each Guest. Just be aware that the Linking Codes expire within 30 minutes, so make sure that he is ready to link when you send your code.
Once everyone in your travel party with a My Disney Experience account is linked to your brother-in-law's Family & Friends List, it's ticket time! He can log in to his My Disney Experience account and follow the simple steps to select the number of days, ticket type, dates and number of tickets to
purchase tickets for everyone. At checkout, just be sure that he links the tickets to each appropriate Guest. If there are Guests in your travel party who don't have a My Disney Experience account, your brother-in-law can simply scroll down to click "Add a New Guest" and link their name to their ticket.
At checkout, your brother-in-law can use a credit card, debit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card, or even PayPal to complete his ticket purchase. It's magic time!
Rhuby, just be sure that you and/or your brother-in-law check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before you purchase your tickets.
Theme Park Pass reservations are required for everyone to get into all four of the theme parks, so this is a planning step that you definitely don't want to skip! If I have your arrival date correct, it looks like Magic Kingdom Park is already sold out on some dates around that time, so just be sure to check before you purchase. Then, after your brother-in-law purchases the tickets,
make your Theme Park Pass reservations as soon as possible to lock down your pixie-dusted plans and start your countdown!
I hope this was helpful, Rhuby, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable upcoming vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Stop by any time with any questions you may have!
You've got a friend in planDisney,
Mandy
