Hi Kendal.
Bienvenue to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your great question.
First of all, how exciting that you're planning a visit to
Disneyland Paris this Summer! As I'm based in the UK and Disneyland Paris is our closest Disney Park, my family are frequent visitors and let me tell you that you're in for a real treat. Are you excitedly counting down the days until you arrive, yet?
Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park is, in my opinion, the "fairest of them all" and even comes complete with a dragon lurking below it. Be sure to pay a visit to
La Tanière du Dragon to see for yourself, during your visit.
Going back to your question, Kendal, I spoke with a Disney Agent called Alana, via the Live Chat function on the Disneyland Paris website about this just a couple of days ago, after another Guest was having a similar problem. Alana confirmed that they are experiencing a technical issue at the moment and advised to change the year of the child's date of birth, to make them 1 year younger, so that the system will accept it and allow you to book your park tickets.
She also confirmed that there will not be any issue whatsoever when you scan your park ticket, at the gate, on the day of your visit.
Top Tip - You can contact a Disney Agent via the Live Chat function which can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris website and/or
Disneyland Paris App.
I can't let you go, Kendal, without mentioning the
Disney Music Festival and
Disney Tales of Magic both of which will be taking place during your visit. These look nothing short of amazing and I cannot wait to see them, in person, when I visit next.
I hope that this information has been of help, Kendal. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.
Wishing you the most magical time at Disneyland Paris filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
