Phyllis,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
So you are almost there! After you purchase your ticket, the steps to make a theme park reservation with the Disney Park Pass system are pretty easy.
Step 1: Check that the park you want is available on the date of your visit
If you go to the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar, you can check availability for all four parks, based on ticket type. Good news for you, I just checked and on April 26, and the Magic Kingdom is still available! It looks from your question like you knew that already, but I always like to double check.
Step 2: Reserve your park
Go to the
Disney Park Pass system page and follow the steps to reserve your park for that day. You can also find that page by hovering over the
"My Disney Experience" menu item at the top right of the Walt Disney World website home page and clicking on
"Disney Park Pass System". By the way, if you have not yet purchased your ticket, you can follow the steps from this page to do that as well.
BONUS TIPBe sure you have the
My Disney Experience App loaded onto your smart phone before entering the parks. The Disney Genie service is great at providing activity suggestions, as well as helping you with locating and ordering counter service meals with the
Mobile Online Ordering service.
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
