    I am trying to purchase magic bands from the online Disney store. We have park tickets, but not staying on property. I would like to add personalization to the bands with our names, but it is not showing that option. I am also logged into my account

    Hey there, Sheila! Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom’s Panel! You must be getting so excited for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World next month! I love that you are interested in purchasing MagicBands to commemorate your next trip. Your MagicBand is truly the gateway to all the Disney magic your heart desires while on vacation. There's nothing like it!  Did you know that the MagicBands you pick now can be used in future trips as well, as long as you keep them linked within your My Disney Experience account? 

    I’ve spoken with a Cast Member regarding your question, and I was told that MagicBands purchased from shopDisney cannot be personalized; only the complimentary or upgraded MagicBands ordered as part of a Disney Resort Hotel reservation can be. But the fact that you will be picking specialty MagicBands will likely be all the personalization you will need!
