    I am trying to purchase Genie Plus, in advance of my trip. It says my admission type isn’t eligible to be modified pre-arrival.

    Thank you so much for sending us your question and welcome to planDisney! I can see that your trip is coming very soon - you must be so excited! Are you all ready for your magic carpet ride yet? I know I would be, so I am thrilled to be helping you today. I might not be a Genie myself, but I know how we can grant some wishes.

    The new Disney Genie+ service is so exciting and I completely understand why you would want to discover this whole new world of possibilities on your next Disney vacation. There are a couple of ways to add the Disney Genie+ service to your vacation. First, when going into the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen and then on "Tickets and Passes." You should then be able to click on "Change Ticket" to upgrade your ticket in various ways, but the option might not always be available. Another way you can purchase the service on the mobile app is by instead clicking on "My Genie Day" and then clicking on "Change Day" at the top right of your screen. You will then be able to select the day of your visit and purchase Disney Genie+ for that day. If you are still having issues purchasing the service for future dates, I would then recommend contacting a Guest Relations Cast Member by phone at (407) 939-5277. Cast Members truly are the real-life Genies and can help you with anything and everything!

    Second, you can always purchase the Disney Genie+ service on the day of your visit. To do so, you would go into the "My Genie Day" section of the My Disney Experience mobile app again and click on "Get Disney Genie+ for Today." Starting at 7 A.M. on the day of your visit, you will be able to begin making arrival window selections for Lightning Lanes. It is important to note that you will have to use your first selection before selecting new ones.
