Hi there Jeni, and welcome to
planDisney!
Hot dog! It's the best being one of Mickey Mouse's neighbors in the Sunshine State. My parents are also part-time Floridians and love to take advantage of
special offers exclusively for residents.
Jeni, you cannot complete your transaction because you must use a credit card with a Florida billing address to purchase Florida resident tickets from the
Walt Disney World website. My parents have one credit card registered to their Florida address, so if you can do this, it will help finalize the transaction. If this isn't possible, you can buy tickets in advance through an authorized third-party ticket seller like AAA (you'll need to present proof of residency to activate them at a ticket window in Walt Disney World) or purchase them upon arrival. Your tickets will likely require
theme park reservations, so don't forget this important step before visiting the theme parks.
I hope everything works out for you! In addition to tickets, you're eligible for special rates on hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection. During your stay, you'll need to stop by the front desk of your resort to show proof of residency. If you don't have a Florida-issued ID, you can present mail from a financial institution or an electric bill from your Florida property.
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. If there's anything else we can do to help with future trips, please come back and see us again. It will be
an incredible year in Walt Disney World, and we're here to discuss it all! Be sure to follow us and the
Disney Parks Blog on social media so you don't miss any excitement.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Betsy
