Hi Catherine! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
When you purchase a
Disney Gift Card, you have the option to select an e-card, which can be conveniently used as soon as it arrives in your inbox without waiting for a physical card to make its way through the mail. To deliver that e-card, however, you need to provide the recipient's e-mail address, hence the request for the recipient's address. Just make sure you select the Gift Card by Email at the start.
Since they're currently at Disneyland Resort, time is of the essence! I know you want them to be able to pay for merchandise or meals with your thoughtful gift. If you don't know the recipient's e-mail, you can have it sent to your e-mail and share a screenshot of the e-card via text message with the recipient once it arrives in your inbox on your mobile device. They should be able to use the image you share with them as payment in the parks during transactions with friendly Cast Members. They can also input the Disney Gift Card number manually into the
Disneyland mobile app to pay for mobile orders.
Disney Gift Cards can also be used towards the purchase of admission tickets and Disneyland Resort Hotel stays. They make a great gift for birthdays and holidays, especially when a loved one has a special trip they've been dreaming of. And the cards don't expire! They retain their value, so any balance that's left can be used the next time they're in Disneyland Resort or on
shopDisney. Terms are subject to change.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
