Hi Patricia,
Thanks for coming to see us at planDisney, where we planDisney panelists love to share tips and ideas from our own vacations as Disney Guests to help you make your own plans for a magical stay.
I'm pretty sure Mickey himself would excitedly shout "Oh boy!" at the sight of your big group of 37 Mouseketeers coming to say "Hi!" It's simply so fun to hear you're planning for a big gathering at the Walt Disney World Resort.
I think there a few ways you can get a price estimate for your big group vacation.
One way to get an estimate for your vacation is to work with the Disney Group Getaways team. If you're planning to book at least 10 Guest rooms during 1 night of your stay, then you might consider contacting the
Disney Group Getaway team. A Disney Group Specialist can help you with your planning. You can
request more information about Disney Group Getaways online, or call them at (407) 828-3318.
Another approach to get an estimate for your vacation is to do a quick website search to find an "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner." Travel agencies who specialize in planning and booking Walt Disney World Resort vacations earn this special distinction as "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" for their knowledge and expertise in helping you with all the different aspects of planning and booking your vacation.
A third approach to get a cost estimate for your vacation is to take a more "plan it yourself" approach. You can rather quickly put together cost estimates using the
"Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" tools.
I think the first step in pricing your group vacation is to think about your accommodations. You mention that your group of 37 Guests comprises eight families. The key questions will be how many Resort hotel rooms will you need, and how many adults and children will be in each?
With this information about your travel party at hand, you can quickly use the booking tools to
explore Resort accommodations. You'll quickly see pricing for the options available.
The second step will be to think about theme park tickets. When you're exploring your Resort hotels, you'll see you can look at Room offers or look at Package offers that combine your Resort hotel room with your tickets. You'll want to consider a few questions. How many days will you want to visit the theme parks? Which ticket type is best for you? If you'll want to visit one theme park per day, you can buy the standard 1 Park Per Day ticket. If you'll want to visit more than one park in a day, you can add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket. You could also consider options that include a
Disney Water Park.
There are a few tips to keep in mind if you're pricing your vacation packages yourself. The vacation package planning tools offer a cool feature that lets you save and compare different packages. This feature makes it easy to compare, for example, the vacation price for staying in a Value Resort compared to a Moderate Resort. Also, if you're making multiple reservations, the reservations will need to be made separately. Also, you can always call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-7702 and speak with a Cast Member if you have any questions.
Patricia, I hope this helps get you started with your vacation planning for your magical group stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
