Hi Rebecca!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I always find that the real magic of a Disney vacation is the memories I make with my family. I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for your family, and I'm happy to help as you get started!
Currently, the Walt Disney World Resort website does not allow you to book multiple rooms in a single reservation, Rebecca, which is why you are unable to complete your search. Since the maximum capacity for a
room in the Disney Resorts Collection is 12 people, you'll need to break your party into smaller groups based on who you think will be sharing rooms to start pricing your options. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Hakuna Matata! You can always
call a Cast Member at Tickets and Hotel Reservations for assistance with pricing and booking multiple rooms. Cast Members can also assist with noting any specific room requests for your stay.
As you start planning, one of the first decisions you'll need to make is where you think you'd like to stay. With more than two dozen hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, you’ll find plenty of options to consider. Of the Value Resorts, I’d suggest looking at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. These resorts offer Family Suites in addition to standard rooms. The Family Suites can accommodate up to 6 adults and provide multiple sleeping areas. My panelist pals JoAnna and Elaine recently recorded
a tour of Art of Animation that you may find helpful if you want to get a closer look at room options here. Having both suites and standard rooms available within a single resort property may be beneficial when traveling with a larger group.
If you're looking for rooms with even more space, you can always take a peek at resorts in the
Deluxe Villas category. Among these choices, I really like
Disney's Beach Club Villas. Some room types here can sleep up to 8 adults and may include a full kitchen in addition to living and dining areas. Beach Club also has my favorite pool at Walt Disney World -
Stormalong Bay - and is just a quick walk or boat ride away from both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. There are also some amazing dining and entertainment options all along
Disney's BoardWalk!
I hope this information has been helpful, Rebecca, as you start planning that family vacation that is practically perfect in every way! Please remember that you're always welcome to
Be Our Guest here at planDisney, and we hope to see you again real soon!
Cheers!
Kristi
