Hello! I am trying to prepare myself ahead of time to make sure I ride Rise of the Resistance next week. I know that Hollywood Studios has been opening a few hours earlier, but will buses/transportation be available that early?

Hi Emma! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are in for such a treat in just THREE days as you visit Stars Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Walt Disney World Resort! When I first visited Black Spire Outpost on the Planet Batuu, I was in absolute awe. The attention to detail and the effort that goes into the entire experience is out of this world!

It sounds like you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and planning to use the complimentary transportation options that are available. I have good news for you! There will be transportation available early enough for you to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios when it first opens. As a general rule, bus transportation begins operating 45 minutes prior to theme park opening hours. Even with an extra early opening, buses to Disney's Hollywood Studios will be ready to transport Guests from their Disney Resort hotel.

I recommend double-checking with the Front Desk when you arrive to find out exactly what time the buses will begin running the morning of your visit. You can also download the My Disney Experience mobile app to check expected bus arrival times. I've found the times on the app to be very accurate!

Enjoy every moment of your upcoming trip, Emma! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
