Hi! I am trying to preorder lunch for my Be Our Guest reservation and I have a dining plan. It says to order an entree and a non-alcoholic drink, but we would like an alcoholic drink. Is it not possible to preorder alcoholic drinks?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea. We just love helping you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant is a must-do for my family when we're spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park. At Beast's enchanted castle, the food is always amazing and so is the atmosphere! One of our favorite things about this fabulous dining location is that we can pre-order our meals for breakfast and lunch with Order-Ahead Dining on My Disney Experience. This feature is super convenient and saves precious time. Unfortunately, Guests who are using their dining plan to pay for a meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant cannot order an alcoholic beverage during the Order-Ahead Dining process for breakfast and lunch. Not to fret! You have a few options. If you'd really like to pre-order your meal, go ahead and place your order with a non-alcoholic beverage. When you arrive at Be Our Guest Restaurant, a friendly Cast Member will review your order with you. At that time, mention that you'd like to select an alcoholic beverage in place of the non-alcoholic beverage you initially selected. Once the Cast Member has checked your valid ID, your order can be easily modified to include an alcoholic beverage. If you'd prefer to just order onsite, you can order the alcoholic beverage from the touch-screen kiosks there. After you've confirmed or placed your order, you'll be free to choose a table from the three uniquely-themed dining rooms. I recommend dining in The West Wing. Cogsworth says it's strictly forbidden, but it's my favorite!

I hope this was helpful, Andrea. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
