Trying to plan a WDW stay at the end of September. Are the weekend days a whole lot busier than the weekdays in September?

    Hi Becki!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

The weekends at the four Walt Disney World theme parks can tend to be busier than during the week, but with some planning you will still find the crowds quite manageable.  This year, September 28th (until November 12th) brings the start of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival which also draws large crowds.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can use the Extra Magic Hours which allow you to enter the parks, on selected days, an hour before opening time, or for a few hours after the parks close.  This will enable you to make the most of your days at the theme parks.  To check when Extra Magic Hours are operating during your visit - please see the Park Calendars:

Magic Kingdom     Epcot     Hollywood Studios     Animal Kingdom

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
