Welcome to planDisney, Patricia! Thank you very much for visiting and bringing me your question.
I see you are interested in visiting the
Disneyland Resort during the Holidays. It is truly one of the most magical times of the year! I highly recommend experiencing
"it's a small world" Holiday and the
World of Color - Season of Light show. They will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, and a little misty-eyed too!
Regarding your question, when you book a
Vacation Package, you will make a $200 deposit and make payments on your package up to
30 days prior to your arrival. That means that if you plan to arrive on December 17, your package will need to be paid off on November 17. Your travel documents will not be issued until the final payment is received.
You can
book your package online or over the phone with a Cast Member at
(714) 520-5060. Press 1 to book a new vacation package.
There are two types of packages you can choose from:
- Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages
- Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages
You will need to consider where you would like to stay during your vacation. You can choose to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or even at a Good Neighbor Hotel (Disney-approved hotels close to the resort.) I've stayed both on-property and off-property and have enjoyed both types of experiences. However, I really love the
perks of staying at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort. My favorite is the 30-minute
early entry benefit into the Theme Parks every day!
After you reserve your package, you'll receive a confirmation email with your reservation details. You will need to link the
Reservation or Confirmation Number to your Disney account, under
My Hotel Reservations. That is where you will manage your reservation and make payments on your package.
Don't forget that you will need to make your
Theme Park Reservations after you link your hotel reservation. When you are ready, park reservations for mid-December might not be available. However, keep checking back every couple of days to make those reservations. Remember that to visit the parks, you will need both a
ticket and a reservation.
Tip: I recommend reviewing the
Terms and Conditions for Vacation Packages. This will give you more information regarding booking and payment procedures, and cancellations.
Patricia, I hope this is helpful to you! If you think of anything else, please feel free to ask me another question.
You know where to find me!
Your Pal,
Alejandra
