Grace:
I remember when our four children were small--you are smart to think about logistics.
I recommend you consider
Bay Lake Towers with its proximity to the Magic Kingdom or
Beach Club Villas near the lights of the Boardwalk and within walking distance of Epcot.
Although I've only visited Bay Lake Towers at its Disney Vacation Club model, I've wanted to stay there since my tour. The sleek look of stainless steel appliances and chrome against gray leather sofas remains etched in my mind--not to mention the jacuzzi in the Master Bedroom. Its views of either the Magic Kingdom or the lake are breath-taking. But what makes it stand out for you is the short stroll over to the Contemporary hotel for the monorail that will whisk you to the Magic Kingdom or, with a transfer, to Epcot.
My stay at the Beach Club Resort wasn't with my kids, and I've said ever since that I'd love to return so that they could experience its pool complex, Stormalong Bay. Imagine building a sand castle with your twins or sitting in an innertube alongside your oldest floating its small lazy river. Best of all, the villas offer a short 5-minute walk to Epcot and a 20-minute boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Both villas boast Character Meals at their sister resorts that I'd recommend you experiencing:
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or
Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club resort. Once you check your dates and decide on a resort, come back to the panel and we can help you with more dining recommendations!
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
