trying to plan vacation to the campground however am unsure about the sites. Do all sites have water and electric? We will be staying in a tent. There will be no need for cable cause ita DISNEY WORLD!!l LOL! will be 6people please help me figure difference

Hi Deana! Fort Wilderness is a great place to take a camping vacation and to be at Walt Disney World makes it even better and more magical.

There is one large tent loop that accommodates those who don't have RV's at Fort Wilderness Resort. This loop will also hold the smaller pop up trailers. All sites will have water and electricity so no worries about that. During your warmer months you can bring your fans to help with the heat. Even many guests bring decorations to enhance their sites during their stay. There is also another smaller loop that is reserved for tents and small vehicles and that one is located near the Trading Post and pool.

The sites are very nice for tenting and you will find that there is plenty of room to put up several tents and or screen houses. Half of the pad is sand based and then you will also have a small area of concrete pad. The loops will have one or two comfort stations to use for showers and bathroom facilities. They have ice machines as well as laundry areas. They are kept in pristine condition which is a nice change from many campgrounds across the country.

You will have use of the complimentary internal bus transportation that will take you to both ends of the resort as well as to the pool area and Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong spot. They run every 15 minutes so it is very convenient. Buses from the front of the resort will take you to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs. If you head to the lake area at the other end you will find boats to the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge Resorts as well as Pioneer Hall where the great Hoop Dee Doo show is held three times nightly. This is also where Trails End restaurant is located.

You will have a fabulous time at Fort Wilderness. If you have any other questions please let me know as it is basically my home away from home and I love sharing my experiences with others.
