I am trying to plan our upcoming trip to Disney World. In respect to the LLMP, do we actually have to do/ride the attraction that we first tap into in order to unlock the ability to make more LL bookings?

Hi there, Staci! Welcome to planDisney!

Woo-hoo! Hip, hip hooray! Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah! O-M-Goofy! I am throwing streamers, confetti, and pixie dust all over this question! You are just days away from visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth! Oh, this is so exciting! Like the White Rabbit, we have no time to waste, so let's hop right into your question!

I am a huge fan of the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and my family and I use this service during every visit. It sounds like you already have your passes and are looking for some guidance on when to reserve your next pass. Staci, once you scan into your first attraction, you can open your My Disney Experience app and start making your next reservation immediately. You don't have to wait until you actually ride your first attraction. My husband and I typically have our app open, and the moment our MagicBand+ turns green, we're already checking to see what attraction we can select next.

Keep in mind that some attractions, like Frozen Ever After or The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, may have two scanning locations—one when you first enter the queue and another closer to the ride. For these rides, you will need to wait until you scan at the second location before the app allows you to select a new attraction.

I hope this answers your question so you'll be ready to use that Lightning Lane Multi Pass to its full potential.

Here's a time-saving tip: make sure to use the Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature in your app. This service saves my family valuable time. We can place our food orders while waiting in line or watching a parade. When ordering, we simply set a return time that fits our schedule and pay for our meal. Then, like magic, when we arrive at our participating quick-service restaurant during our designated time window, we can pick up our food without waiting in line to order. This gives us even more time to enjoy the attractions!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. We are Guests like you who want nothing more than to help you experience the magic! Feel free to stop by anytime.

    Blue skies and sunshine!
