I am trying to plan a trip to WDW for next summer and want time to budget for it. Travelling with my nephew (18, has Autism and loves arcades). At Fort Wilderness can we request a cabin near the arcade there and how do I find out which loop that would be?

Greetings, Barbara, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking me this excellent question.

Please keep your eye on our periodic Special Offers to build a Magic Your Way Vacation Package offering a Disney Resort hotel, Theme Park Tickets and the option to add a Disney Dining Plan.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort afford a true camping experience with all the comforts of home – definitely my way to camp! It’s very thoughtful of you to be so considerate of your nephew’s preferences for Arcades and this Resort hotel offers two such places – Davy Crockett’s Wilderness Arcade at Pioneer Hall and Daniel Boone’s Wilderness Arcade at Meadow Recreation Area. I recommend requesting either cabin 118 or 120 which are on Loop 100 by calling (407) 939-5277. These cabins are a quick and easy walk over to Pioneer Hall and the Boat Launch. Barbara, you may wish to consider renting a Golf Cart – 4 Seat for added convenience during your stay, especially if you decide to stay on another Loop. I know that my Autistic teenage son loves riding in Golf Carts during our visits adding to everyone’s overall comfort and great enjoyment.

May I offer Disney’s Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities which will afford your nephew a more inclusive and enjoyable visit?

    Best Disney Wishes!
