I am trying to plan a trip to WDW with my husband and 7 year old son. We are looking at April 8-14 or May 8-14, 2001. Our preference is the April dates but we were wondering if it would an extremely busy time (it's a week prior to my son's spring break.

    Hi Kristen!
Happy New Year!! Planning a trip to walt Disney World is always exciting reagrdless of dates, but I can certainly understand you wanting to minimize crowds. That said, many parts of the country have different Spring Breaks (if at all), and the dates cover a wide span. The earliest parts of Spring Break typically begin around mid-February, at least here in the Northeast, and they continue all the way through Easter, which is April 24 this year. If you are looking for a less crowded choice of your dates, I would go with May 8-14. I hope this helps you in your planning, and whichever dates you choose, I wish you and your family a Magical trip!! :)
