I am trying to plan a trip in 2024, Where do I start

    Hey Jessie! Welcome to planDisney!

It's never too early to start thinking about a "great, big, beautiful tomorrow" or your next getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm fairly sure that most of us here on the planDisney panel are already looking toward our next Walt Disney World Resort vacations and maybe even the ones booked out after that! There are just always so many new and exciting things happening around the Resort that it's hard to stay away! I don't know about you but I'm really looking forward to watching as EPCOT continues its incredible transformation!

As you might have noticed, the booking calendar on the Walt Disney World Resort website currently only runs through December 31, 2023.  However, you hopefully won't have to wait too long before you're able to start setting your 2024 plans in stone.  Guests are able to book Room-Only accommodations at Disney Resorts Collection hotels 499 days before their intended arrival by calling and speaking with a Cast Member at (407) 939-1936.

Choosing a Disney Resort is my absolute favorite part of planning my next Disney trip.  I love looking at the Panel Extras section of the planDisney website and searching through the Disney Resort Hotels Pocket Guides.  They're a great way to get a feel for each and every Resort before we make a decision on where to stay.  Whether you're planning an extravagant, luxury trip or you're leaning more toward a budget-friendly getaway I'm sure you'll find the perfect Resort to fit you and your party's needs and wants.

After choosing your Resort, check out the Theme Park Ticket section of the Walt Disney World Resort website.  Here you'll be able to learn more about visiting one Park per day with a Standard Theme Park Ticket, multiple Parks per day with a Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket or even adding Water Park visits into your trip with the Water Park and Sports Option.

I know there is definitely A LOT to think about, but planDisney is here to help every step of the way.  As you continue with your plans and reservations make sure to stop by and see us again with any additional questions!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
