Hello we are trying to plan a trip for my son's first birthday. Well I was pricing the dining plans I was confused does it add him to that plan. He isn't going to be eating a "meal" so are we being charged for a meal for him? Thanks.

    Hello Kara!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week. Birthdays are so special, especially when celebrated at Walt Disney World Resort!

Children under the age of 3 do not need to purchase a meal as part of a Character Dining experience, special dining offer or event, or dining plan. They can share a meal with a paying adult instead.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
