We are trying to plan our trip through each park concentrating on the rides that are more like the "Pirates of the Carribean" or "The Haunted Mansion" not the intense kind of coaster rides. How can we get a description of the rides?

    Hi Susan,

If you go to Walt Disney Worlds website at www.waltdisneyworld.com and select each park you are interested in going to, on the main page you will see at the top left hand corner a link you can click to see the PARK INFO AND MAP.  Open this map and you will see all of the different attractions listed in number form. Click on the actual number of the attraction you would like more information about in order to get a brief description of that attraction.  If you want the full description for the attraction where you will be able to see what the category rating, etc... is you need to click on "SEE MORE" under the attraction description.  I will give you an example using Snow White's Scary Adventure which is listed as number 12 on the MAP for the Magic Kingdom and when you click on "See more" this is where you will find the full description and category rating (which is listed as "Mild But Wild Thrills" for this attraction).  If you do this for each attraction at each of the Parks you will have a broader idea of what they are like and if it is something you would be interested in going on (or not!).  I would also suggest that you ask cast members when you approach an attraction what that attraction is like... they are very informative and will give you a much better description of the attraction once they know what types you would like to stay away from.  Have a very magical trip!

    Best wishes,
