I am trying to plan a trip in Nov. and we were going to stay at the Caribbiean Beach in a pirate themed room my only hold up is the size of the beds. It will be 2 adults and my 7 year old (who is big) are these double sz beds big enough?

    Hi Cindy!

You will love the amazing theming of the Pirate Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
I stayed there with my family a few years ago when the rooms were quite new on the scene. My little Buccaneer was 8 at the time and his older Princess sister was 11. Though the double beds are cozy, we all certainly slept soundly and comfortably even with 2 of us per bed.

If you're afraid that the bed size may not work for your travel party, consider an alternate moderate resort location with queen size beds. My top pick in this category would be Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.

Did you know that there arrrrrrrr plenty of other Pirate activities you can partake in, as a family, or just for your 7 year old to enjoy? If you'd  like some other Pirate-y recommendations for your family to enjoy, please write me back and I'll be pleased to share some additional activities that my little Buccaneers have enjoyed tremendously over the years!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Cindy!
I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Wishing you a simply Magical, swashbucklingly good time at Walt Disney World!
