I am trying to plan a trip for my husband, grand daughter, age 2.5, and myself for a couple days. She loves the frozen movies as well as moanna. My husbands cancer has just spread and we want to make this memory while he is still able to enjoy it.

    Hi, there!

Oh my goodness, Catherine. I'm so sorry to hear you've received such devastating news. I think planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful way to make the most of your precious time together! Let's chat about how you can plan this much-needed getaway.

To start with, I recommend booking a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic, even after you've left the theme parks! There are lots of benefits to being a Guest of the Disney Resorts Collection, but I think one of the biggest benefits is the convenient and complimentary theme park transportation. This is especially true when you're traveling with a little one in tow! You can book your hotel stay online, but in this instance, I recommend calling the Reservation Team at (407) 939-1936. With The World's Most Magical Celebration just about to begin, there's limited availability among the Disney Resorts Collection. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you find the perfect hotel that fits your family's unique needs, interests, and budget.

You can make your hotel stay a Walt Disney World vacation package by adding Theme Park Tickets at the time of your booking. This will streamline your vacation planning process and make managing your plans super easy. It's important to note that your granddaughter will not need Theme Park Tickets. Guests under the age of 3 are special Guests of Mickey Mouse!

Once you have your hotel booked and your Theme Park Tickets purchased, you'll need to create a My Disney Experience account and then get those plans linked. With your tickets linked, you can go ahead and make your Theme Park Reservations. I just checked the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and it looks like there's plenty of "green" - that means there's availability for all four parks for the dates of your visit!

With a little princess fan in tow, I recommend visiting Magic Kingdom Park. Fantasyland, in particular, features lots of family-friendly attractions that the three of you can enjoy together! Since your granddaughter is a fan of the Frozen films, I also suggest prioritizing EPCOT. Frozen Ever After, in the Norway pavilion, will quickly become one of her most favorite attractions! Additionally, I think she'd also really enjoy seeing For the First Time in Forever: a Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

When you book your vacation package, I encourage you to purchase Memory Maker as an add-on. This service is just what your family needs! With Memory Maker, Disney PhotoPass Photographers will capture the moments you and your husband share with your sweet girl throughout the theme parks. You'll have these priceless images to cherish forever!

I hope this was helpful, Catherine. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We're wishing you plenty of peace and many magical memories.
