It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrew!
It sounds like you an I have a lot in common because I'm always ready to get all my plans set in place as soon as I book my Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I know it can be tricky to finalize everything when the
calendar isn't showing the theme park hours and showtimes for the week you're there just yet, but the great news is that all of those plans are flexible so you have the freedom to tweak and modify as much as you'd like!
I have a trip coming up this winter, and when I was ready to book my advanced dining reservations 180 days before my arrival date, the theme park hours weren't out quite yet for the week of my vacation. I went ahead and made my plans based on the information available and what was most important to me, and then from there I just like to keep an eye on the calendar in the months and weeks leading up to my vacation because those hours are always subject to change anyway. For example, the hours for
Disney's Animal Kingdom changed on one of the nights of my upcoming vacation and I decided to use the
My Disney Experience app to modify a dining reservation I had planned at
Tiffins Restaurant, but it all ended up working out because it turns out that in the time since I had made my reservations,
Magic Kingdom Park had added evening
Extra Magic Hours for that night! That's why I'm glad that dining reservations and
FastPass+ selections are flexible, because I always end up making a few changes to my plans before I arrive anyway. With all that being said, I suspect it'll only be a week or two before we see the hours for the week of your vacation pop up on the calendar, so you probably don't have that much longer to wait!
Have a magical day, Andrew!
