I am trying to plan a trip for a family of 5 to DisneyLand. This will be our first time going. I need assistance with tickets, airfare, and hotel stay.

Hiya, Adela and welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you want to begin planning a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! I know you will love Disneyland Resort, with all the charm and nostalgia of yesteryear coupled with the thrills and frills of the present and future. It'll be magical, memorable, and an overall wonderful family vacation!

Adela, as this is your first time going, we'll go over everything in steps. The first is theme park tickets! Disneyland has 2 theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney's Grand California Adventure Park. I suggest getting 1-day tickets for both parks, and then a ticket with the Park Hopper option added on. You will want to spend a full day at each theme park, especially now with the return of two of my favorite nighttime shows, World of Color at California Adventure, and Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland. For your third day, I suggest getting the Park Hopper option because it will not only grant you admission to both theme parks (you may begin entering the second theme park at 1 PM), but you can solely focus on the rides and attractions you loved the first time around. Make sure to take a day and visit the Downtown Disney District as well, for your shopping needs, and to dine at some really great restaurants.

The next bit of info will be on the hotels. Disneyland has three amazing options to choose from, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I suggest you look over the information provided for each hotel on the Disneyland website, they are all wonderful options, and great for any budget. When you are ready to begin booking, you can call the Vacation Packages desk at (714) 520-5060. Booking online through the Disneyland website gives you the option to add on roundtrip shuttle services (for an extra fee) or to add a car rental. I flew into LAX airport when I visited a few years ago, and used a rideshare service (Lyft) to get to Paradise Pier.

Adela, have a wonderful visit to Disneyland. May all your dreams come true!
