Trying to plan a trip with an extremly picky eater. We normally stay in hotels with kitchens so that we can buy his food and cook there. Are there any options for situations like this? Thanks!

    Hi Whitney,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian! The Walt Disney World Resort is a haven for picky eaters. There is something for the simplest of eaters to the most serious of foodies among us!

Yes, there are several Resort Hotels that come equipped with full kitchens. During our first visit with our girls we stayed at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa in a two bedroom villa that came equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Although we did not cook as much as your family might, the kitchen was lovely. Typically, the Deluxe Resorts have room options with full kitchens. You might also try the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or the villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort.

Although my girls might not be picky eaters, they are not what I would call adventurous ones. Luckily, food is such a delight at the Walt Disney World Resort and there are so many options! You might find Character Meals a possibility as well. Since they are often buffet style, there are a wide variety of choices that might be appealing.

On each visit, we dine at the 50's Prime Time Café partly because we love the decor but also because the restaurant rule of thumb is that kids must eat their vegetables. Somehow, our girls follow the rules here. We consider it part of the Disney magic.

    Happy Planning!
