I am trying to plan a trip at the end of September. I will have my 11 and 4 year old girls and just myself. I am having the hardest time figuring out which moderate resort to stay. I like the pirate theme rooms but can't decide. what are your suggestio

    Hi Heather!

The pirate rooms ARRRGH great!  Well themed and fun for those pirate fans.  A word of warning, though...they are pretty far from the food court and main pool area of the resort, so you could potentially be subject to quite a bit of walking.

We stayed at Caribbean Beach on our last vacation (after 9 years away) and loved the tropical island feel.  The resort is very spread out, so it gives the feeling of being 'away from it all,' but many people don't like that because it means more walking.  We don't really mind.

One of our favorite moderate resorts is Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  It has a majestic feel to it with the stately oak trees and lazy Sassagoula River.  Next door is Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, which is also a very nice resort.

I think either way you'll have a great time!

    Have a magical vacation!
