    We are trying to plan our trip for the end of January and noticed that there are no show times for several attactions, such as Discovery Island Carnivale, Burudika, Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe, and others. How long before these schedules are available?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Boom! Boom! Boom! those African drums really get me and my family dancing. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is alive with more than just wildlife. The immersion in Asian and African culture is one of the reasons my family loves it so much. Your January trip will be amazing especially with all the new nighttime offerings.

    Live entertainment at Disney theme parks is usually scheduled two to three weeks in advance. I would check back weekly to see when the event times are available. I usually assume that the same times will continue through a month and plan my day accordingly.

    Disney Dad Tip: The dining experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park serve some very unique dishes. You may be tempted to have a table service meal but I would encourage your explorer palate to scout out and try many of the counter service items. Harambe Market is a favorite with delicious dishes to satisfy the hungriest discoverer.
