Trying 2plan our trip to Disneyworld with our 20 month old.Haven't been to Disney in a long time. Plan on staying onsite.Any helpful words of advice, or anything important we should be aware of?Traveling with a babe is stressful, anything appreciated

Hi Nikki! I've been taking my little ones on Disney vacations since they were 4-months and 6-months old. Boy, oh boy, do I know how intimidating the thought of traveling with young kids can be!

Whether you are flying or driving, you will want to take lots of snacks and an assortment of activities that your toddler enjoys. My kids loved books and coloring. I also took along a mobile device with some movies on it. I didn't let my kiddos have much screen time at that age, so when I pulled out a movie they were captivated by it!

Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will be incredibly beneficial to you. You can utilize the complimentary transportation, plan breaks in your day to return to your resort hotel for a rest, plan further in advance for dining and FastPass+ reservations to minimize wait times and take advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours for a less crowded theme park. Download the free My Disney Experience mobile app, as well. This will show attraction wait times, FastPass+ availability and even let you order food in advance at many Quick-Service locations. It really makes life easier!

I always recommend bringing your stroller. Not only will this help ease your little one's tired legs, but your arms and back will appreciate the break from holding a toddler all day! You can also use your stroller for holding snacks, diaper bags, etc. Speaking of diaper bags, each theme park has a Baby Care Center where you can feed and change your little one, so make sure to check them out!

Lastly, live in the moment! This will be a special trip, so don't be afraid to take it slow and just enjoy the wonder of seeing everything through your little one's eyes!
