Hi there! I am trying to plan a trip to Disneyland for September 2019, but I am trying to figure out when the Halloween decorations are going to go up so that I can plan my trip around then. Does anyone know where I could get the exact dates? Thanks!

Hi, Cori! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

Halloween Time is one of my favorite times to visit the Disneyland Resort! Official dates for Halloween Time aren’t released until the spring or early summer each year, so we don’t know quite yet when all the decorations will be up for 2019. However, this year, Halloween Time started on September 7, 2018, and in years past Halloween Time has started by mid-September. So, I’d say if you plan your trip anytime between September 10 and October 31, you will almost guarantee that you will get to experience all the spooky fun. Subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog as they will be the first to announce the official dates next year.

As you continue to plan your adventure, consider adding Mickey’s Halloween Party to your plans for one night of your trip. The party takes place on select nights in September and October and is an absolute must do for families visiting in the fall. A separate special event ticket is required to enjoy the party, so if you plan to attend, be ready to purchase these tickets when they go on sale next year. The Halloween Party has completely sold out this year and is likely to sell out again next year.

I hope this helps. Happy planning!
