I am trying to plan for a trip to Disneyland in March, but can't find anything with availabilities after December. Why?

Hi there, Miechelle. Thanks for taking the time to visit us on planDisney with your question.

I’m glad to see you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth next March! Disneyland Resort is continuing its phased reopening. Just the other day, the last of the three onsite hotels, Disneyland Hotel, just began welcoming Guests after a long closure due to the pandemic. I’m so excited to see the State of California easing restrictions related to COVID and we’re slowly seeing theme park operations slowly and safely returning to a new normal.

At this time, theme park reservations are only able to be booked up to 120 days in advance. I took a quick peek at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and Guests can book their visit through October 31, 2021. In regard to hotel stays, Guests can book through the end of 2021. January 2022 is not available at this time, but I do hope those dates open up soon! My family and I just returned from playing several days in the theme parks, and we cannot wait to plan our next trip!

I recommend staying up-to-date with all the latest official Disney news by checking Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com occasionally. Any mentions about early 2022 bookings will most likely be made there.

Please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have more trip-planning questions. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
