    Hi there! We are trying to plan our 2nd trip to disney - YEAH!! We are trying to decide between the first week of Oct (before Columbus Day) and the Last week of January/First Week of February. Is Oct too hot/humid/rainy? We want low crowds.

    Hi Nicole!

    This is a great question.  Crowd-wise there really isn't that much of a difference between the first  week of October and the last week of January or first week of February.  Weather-wise, however, there is a huge difference.  October can still be very hot and humid.  On the plus side, October does offer Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.  Both are fabulous events and guest favorites.  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite hard ticketed event in the Magic Kingdom; it offers a special parade and fireworks show and trick or treating in the theme park.
